Engineers Without Borders Carleton is a non-profit student group that aims to create opportunities for communities in Canada and Africa through national advocacy campaigns, student outreach, and investments in people & ideas.
We aim to create real and effective change through our programs, including Youth Engagement, Advocacy, Global Engineering, Fundraising, and Member Learnings. These programs engage our chapter members, the greater Carleton community, Canadians, our government, companies, and other universities to build connections leading to choices that promote and contribute to human development.
Contrary to what some might initially think when they hear the name “Engineers Without Borders”, our focus is not on going overseas and building wells and bridges – we use university students’ problem-solving skills to drive positive social change.
We strongly encourage students from all faculties to join and share their knowledge and experience.
